In a nutshell, Flossy Notes, Flossy as I like to call it, covers all content needs for small businesses. Writing isn’t always someone’s favourite thing to do; it can be difficult to get your thoughts across in the style you’d like, it takes time to create something you’re happy with, and just because you’re an entrepreneur, doesn’t mean you’re excellent at all aspects of running a business. Sometimes it’s just easier, and more time efficient to outsource.
WHAT DOES FLOSSY NOTES HAVE TO OFFER?
As a freelance writer, clients are varied and projects differ which allows me to research, learn and delve into each piece with a fresh mind.
The reason people generally outsource their content needs is a) they don’t have the time, and/or b) they don’t believe their own writing is up to par for their brand. At Flossy, each project is given the time, energy and collaborative input you deserve. Whether you need a monthly editorial, recruitment advert or website update, your company ethos and personality will be incorporated from all angles.

Writing for my clients isn’t just a box that needs ticking; I want the finished product to be something not only you, but I am extremely pleased with. This is why I check-in as the project evolves, allowing for feedback and adjustments from all parties.
That being said, I am fully aware of the time restraints most business owners feel. I’m conscious to take up as little of your time as possible, gaining everything I need from the initial point of contact so as to get started with ease, then limiting my communication to essential moments. I won’t send multiple emails when one will suffice, I take all the notes necessary to eliminate forgetfulness, and I only send my work once triple-checked.
As a business owner myself, I understand the need for efficiency; if you’re paying somebody for a service, you don’t expect to supervise them through it - You may as well have done it yourself right? There’s a fine line between feeling involved and molly coddling a task. With Flossy, clients will always be essentially in control of their project, able to observe edits as and when they happen, check-in on progress and ask for updates directly, if they so wish. Contrastly, many clients prefer to give a brief and leave me to it. “Let me know when you’ve got something together!” Either way, I am more than happy to oblige. Some people want collaboration, some want to disconnect from the task in hand altogether.
